Casablanca was almost 20 years out of business as a tanguería, and on Friday 21 January it returned with the help of its owner, Liliana Carcavallo in San Telmo, in the same place that saw the most outstanding artists of the 2x4 shine. Located at Balcarce 668, it was one of the pioneers and main tango houses that experienced its heyday in the late 60s. There, a white piano is reminiscent of the film starring Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman and becomes the starting point of the show. It was restored respecting the original aesthetics and taking care of the smallest detail. The lead singer is Ariel Altieri, who together with the choreographer Débora Agudo shares the general direction. They are accompanied by a female voice, four pairs of dancers and an orchestra led by maestro Ariel Rodríguez.
